2026 So Far – A Recap of the First Half of the Year at Camera Crew Germany
As we reach the halfway point of 2026, it feels like a good moment to reflect on what has already been a remarkable and, at times, challenging year.
Looking at the wider global landscape, uncertainty has continued to shape many industries. Economic pressures, political developments and international events have influenced businesses across the world – the film and media industry is sadly not exempt from that. As a production company that works predominantly with international broadcasters, brands and corporate clients, we naturally feel the effects of these changes.
When the world is focused on major events and pressing issues, video production can sometimes seem less of a priority. Yet despite these challenges, the first half of 2026 has been one of our busiest and most rewarding periods in recent years.

Exploring New Locations
One of the highlights of the year so far has been the opportunity to support our long-standing clients from the UK, the United States and beyond on productions in Germany and across Europe.
While Germany remains our home base, our work increasingly takes us far beyond its borders. Thanks to more than 30 years of experience in sourcing professional camera crews, maintaining an extensive network of trusted film professionals and continuously expanding our production capabilities, we have covered more countries and cities across Europe than ever before.
In the first six months of 2026 alone, we provided camera crews and production support in:
- Warsaw
- Amsterdam
- Budapest
- Oslo
- Helsinki
- Paris
- Copenhagen
- Stockholm
- Aarhus
Whether you need a local camera crew in a European city or would prefer to travel with one of our trusted DOPs, we can arrange every aspect of the production. From crew sourcing and equipment hire to logistics and local production support, our goal is always the same: making your shoot as smooth, efficient and successful as possible.
Crewing Up Shoots Big and Small
At Camera Crew Germany, we understand that every production matters.
While large-scale broadcasts and complex productions often attract the most attention, smaller shoots require just as much care, preparation and professionalism. That is why we approach every project with the same commitment, regardless of its size.
The first half of 2026 brought a healthy mix of both.
As the financial heart of continental Europe, Frankfurt remained one of our busiest locations. Our ENG crews regularly covered developments from the European Central Bank, produced corporate content for financial institutions and supported interviews, panel discussions and documentary productions focused on economic and financial topics.
At the same time, we were delighted to support several larger productions. One particularly memorable project involved a multi-camera livestream production featuring four cameras, a vision mixing engineer, dedicated sound technicians, a line producer and a still photographer. Projects like these demonstrate the importance of having experienced crew members working together seamlessly to deliver high-quality live content under tight deadlines.

The Same Procedure Every Year
Germany continues to be one of the world’s leading destinations for trade fairs, exhibitions and international conferences.
Every year, thousands of visitors, exhibitors and media professionals travel to events such as Hannover Messe, the Munich Security Conference and Embedded World in Nuremberg. These events provide fantastic opportunities for businesses to showcase innovations, connect with international audiences and create compelling video content.
Naturally, our crews are on hand to support clients attending these events. From filming exhibitor showcases and conducting interviews to producing social media content and news coverage, our local knowledge and production expertise help clients make the most of their time on the ground.

Looking Ahead
As we move into the summer months, we are excited about what lies ahead.
Summer is one of our favourite times of the year for filming. Longer days, better weather and beautiful natural light create ideal conditions for capturing stunning footage. Germany truly shows itself at its best during this season, with vibrant city centres, lush forests, rolling vineyards, picturesque rivers and countless unique locations waiting to be discovered.
For filmmakers, producers and content creators, it is the perfect time to capture authentic and visually striking imagery.
If you’re planning a shoot in Germany and need support with location scouting, crew sourcing or full production services, we’d love to help. Our team can recommend and arrange exceptional filming locations throughout the country, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems that bring something truly unique to your production.
Here’s to a successful second half of 2026—we look forward to seeing where the next six months take us and we look forward to working with you!
